I Adore You
Melpo Mene
Lost in a daydream of blue
I feel so free
And then it's like I fall from the sky
Everything that I see is you
And you should know that
I'm thinking about what you said
When you held my hand
Oh, I adore you
Now we are older and things disappeared somehow
And I was thinking that maybe
We'd stand better chance if we met today
I find myself talking to sharks
On my way to an island, and still
I adore you
I was young, I was old
And we were in, we were out
I wanna see, I wanna see it all
I wanna die, I wanna die
Sweetheart, sweetheart
I thought I saw
I thought I saw a light
I see it now, I see it now
If I Were Good With The Mothers
Melpo Mene
If I am good with the mothers
Then perhaps it can help me when
I find my way to the daughters
Oh I wish they were easier
When yes is no and stay is go
How can I remember?
Never mind this is fine
Thanks for the poem
Oh, if I am good with the fathers
Then perhaps it can help me when
I just happen to be back with brothers
Oh, I wish they were easier
When yes is no and stay is go
How can I remember?
Never mind, this is fine
Thanks for the poem,
Farewell!
If I am good with the mothers
Then perhaps it can help me when
I find my way to the daughters
Oh I wish they were easier
The Story
Brandi Carlile
All of these lines across my face
Tell you the story of who I am
So many stories of where I've been
And how I got to where I am
But these stories, don't mean anything
When you've got no one to tell them to
It's true
I was made for you
I climbed across the mountian tops
Swam across the ocean blue
I crossed over lines and I broke all the rules
And baby I broke them all for you
Oh but even was I was flat broke
You made me feel like a million bucks
You do,
And I was made for you
You see the smile that's on my mouth
Its hiding the words that dont' come out
And all of my friends who think that I'm blessed
They don't know my head is a mess
No, they don't know who I really am
And they don't know what I've been thru
Like you do,
And I was made for you
In all of these lines across my face
Tell you the story of who I am
So many stories of where I've been
And how i got to where I am
Oh but these stories don't mean anything
When you got no one to tell them to
It's true
I was made for you
Oh it's true that
I was made for you.

Holes
Melpo Mene
I’ve got holes
In my jeans
But what’s worse
They’re in my head too
I’ve got holes
In my jeans
But what’s worse
They’re in my head too
I’m so tired
With my holes
And I’m so sorry
I got you involved
I’m so tired
With my holes
And I’m so sorry
I got you involved
I’m so sorry
I got you involved
I take a walk
in the snow
Don’t be alive
I’m not here
Cus I take a walk
in the snow
Jedi
Melpo Mene
Wait and see, I'm young, I grow each day
Oh, I feel this pointer inside me
I cannot argue with myself
I am not afraid,
She's a Jedi too
Oh, I don't believe in anything
Sorry, if i'd known where do mondays go
You see, I don't believe in anything
So I will complete my training here
I probably should
Wake me up, prepare my ship
I'm off
And you should know I won't come back again
I am not afraid
She's a Jedi, too
Oh, I don't believe in anything
Sorry if I'd known where do mondays go
You see, I don't believe in anything
Somewhere Only We Know
Keane
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete
Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin
I came across a fallen tree
I felt the branches of it looking at me
Is this the place we used to love?
Is this the place that I've been dreaming of?
Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin
And if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go
Somewhere only we know?
Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin
So if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go
So why don't we go
This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go
Somewhere only we know?
Everybody's Changing
Keane
You say you wander your own land
But when I think about it
I don't see how you can
You're aching, you're breaking
And I can see the pain in your eyes
Says everybody's changing
And I don't know why
So little time
Try to understand that I'm
Trying to make a move just to stay in the game
I try to stay awake and remember my name
But everybody's changing
And I don't feel the same
You're gone from here
And soon you will disappear
Fading into beautiful light
Cause everybody's changing
And I don't feel right
So little time
Try to understand that I'm
Trying to make a move just to stay in the game
I try to stay awake and remember my name
But everybody's changing
And I don't feel the same
So little time
Try to understand that I'm
Trying to make a move just to stay in the game
I try to stay awake and remember my name
But everybody's changing
And I don't feel the same

Horses still run.... Hey Yo Hey
Dancers still dance ...... Hey Yo Hey
We united together ......Hey Yo Hey
Into one nation and one heart ..... Hey Yo Hey
Chime in left hand, Drum in the right hand
Holding drums and chimes to celebrate
Horses still run, dancers still dance
To sing with the sound of the Phoenix Drum
Thank You
Dido
My tea's gone cold, I'm wondering why
I got out of bed at all
The morning rain clouds up my window
and I can't see at all
And even if I could it'd all be grey,
but your picture on my wall
It reminds me that it's not so bad,
it's not so bad
I drank too much last night, got bills to pay,
my head just feels in pain
I missed the bus and there'll be hell today,
I'm late for work again
And even if I'm there, they'll all imply
that I might not last the day
And then you call me and it's not so bad,
it's not so bad and
I want to thank you
for giving me the best day of my life
Oh just to be with you
is having the best day of my life
Push the door, I'm home at last
and I'm soaking through and through
Then you hand me a towel
and all I see is you
And even if my house falls down,
I wouldn't have a clue
Because you're near me and
I want to thank you
for giving me the best day of my life
Oh just to be with you
is having the best day of my life
I'll Take The Rain
R.E.M.
The rain came down
The rain came down
The rain came down on me.
The wind blew strong
The summer song
Fades to memory
I knew you when
I loved you then
The summer's young and helpless.
You laid me bare
You marked me there
The promises we made.
I used to think
As birds take wing
They sing through life so why can't we?
You cling to this
You claim the best
If this is what you're offering
I'll take the rain
I'll take the rain
I'll take the rain.
The nighttime creases
Summer schemes
And stretches out to stay.
The sun shines down
You came around
You love easy days.
But now the sun,
The winter's come.
I wanted just to say
That if I hold
I'd hope you'd fold Open up inside, inside of me.
I used to think
As birds take wing
They sing through life so why can't we?
You cling to this
You claim the best
If this is what you're offering
I'll take the rain
I'll take the rain
I'll take the rain.
This winter song
I'll sing along
I've searched its still refrain
I'll walk alone
I've given this, take wing
Celebrate the rain.
I used to think
As birds take wing
They sing through life so why can't we?
You cling to this
You claim the best
If this is what you're offering
I'll take the rain
I'll take the rain
I'll take the rain.
I've Been High
R.E.M.
Have you seen?
Have not will travel
Have I missed the big reveal?
Do my eyes,
Do my eyes seem empty?
I've forgotten how this feels.
I've been high
I've climbed so high
The light, sometimes it washes over me.
Have you been?
Have done will travel
I fell down on me knees
Was I wrong?
I don't know, don't answer.
I just needed to believe.
I've been high
I've climbed so high
The light, sometimes it washes over me.
So I dive into a pool.
So cool and deep that if I sink I sink,
And when I swim I fly, so high.
What I want
All I really wanted
Just to live my life on high.
And I know
I know you want the same
I can see it in your eyes.
I've been high
I've climbed so high
The light, sometimes it washes over me.
Washes over me
I close my eyes
So I can see
Make my make believe, believe in me.

The lyrics are in a nonsensical language, although its closest relative is
Latin. The idea is that you form your own interpretation. Enya did not write it,
she only recorded it with her voice on an album. The artist is not Adiemus, the
piece entirely is called Adiemus. This song is the theme to an opus of 10 or 11
peices, collectively called Adiemus: Songs of Sanctuary. Karl Jenkins, a Swedish
composer, wrote the song. The first recording was sung by Miriam Stockley and
performed by the London Philharmonic.
Flora's Secret
Enya
Lovers in the long grass
Look above them
Only they can see
Where the clouds are going
Only to discover
Dust and sunlight
Ever make the sky so blue
Afternoon is hazy
River flowing
All around the sounds
Moving closer to them
Telling them the story
Told by Flora
Dreams they never knew
Silver willows
Tears from Persia
Those who come
From a far-off island
Winter Chanterelle lies
under cover
Glory-of-the-sun in blue
Some they know as passion
Some as freedom
Some they know as love
And the way it leaves them
Summer snowflake
For a season
When the sky above is blue
When the sky above is blue
Lying in the long grass
Close beside her
Giving her the name
Of the one the moon loves
This will be the day she
Will remember
When she knew his heart
Was
Loving in the long grass
Close beside her
Whispering of love
And the way it leaves them
Lying in the long grass
In the sunlight
They believe it's true love
And from all around them
Flora's secret
Telling them of love
And the way it breathes
And
Looking up from eyes of
Amaranthine
They can see the sky
Is blue
Knowing that their love
Is true
dreams they never knew
And the sky above is blue
Wild Child
Enya
Ever close your eyes.
Ever stop and listen.
Ever feel alive.
And you've nothing missing.
You don't need a reason
Let the day go on and on.
Let the rain fall down.
Everywhere around you
Give into it now.
Let the day surround you
You don't need a reason
Let the rain go on and on
What a day, what a day to take to
What a way, what a way to make it through.
What a day, what a day to take to a wild child
Only take the time.
From the helter skelter.
Every day you find.
Everything's in kilter.
You don't need a reason.
Let the day go on and on
Every summer sun,
Every winter evening.
Every spring to come
Every autumn leaving.
You don't need a reason
Let it all go on and on.
What a day, what a day to take to.
What a way, what a way to make it through
What a day, what a day to take to a wild child.
What a day, what a day to take to.
What a way, what a way to make it through.
What a day, what a day to take to a wild child.
What a day, what a day to take to.
What a way, what a way to make it through.
What a day, what a day to take to.
Da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da-da
What a way, what a way to make it through
Da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da-da
What a way, what a way to make it through
What a day, what a day to take to a wild child
What a day, what a day to take to a wild child
